A kind of mixed bag piece today. There's some experimentation with Bitspeek, some with the Konstruct Refill, some with delay. Overall it came together all right, I suppose.
Lyrics:
You may not come back from this, this time.
No one asked you to speak.
Why don't you take the time?
Think for yourself, don't bother me.
I don't have the time.
You acted like a fool,
you thought you were so cool,
Now you have to deal with all the consequences of your actions.
No one asked you to speak.
Why don't you take the time?
Think for yourself, don't bother me.
I don't have the time.

Day 166: Swelling Frustration Leads to Inspiration
Without getting too personal there are things in daily life, work, etc that you come to expect. "Expectations" let's call them. When these expectations become exceptions you start to get frustrated. This piece rose out of that. Creatively, I felt stifled, but overall I think it came out okay.
Life goes on.
Lyrics:
Listen up to what I tell you.
I can't believe I have to spell it out.
What do you want? A picture?
Take this.
Listen up, you better listen up.
How long will it take for you to understand?
I can't take much longer for you to understand
I only have so much patience.
I only have so much time.
Listen up.
You better listen up.
Life goes on.

Day 128: Liar, Guns, and Noise - OH MY!
Another one in the "noise" column. This is one I've had in my pocket for awhile. Playing with Simon J's FM Refill.
Lyrics:
I've got this gun cocked, locked, and ready to fire.
You better duck.
Don't stand there, you're a liar.
I've got this gun cocked, locked, and ready to fire.
Don't stand there, I might miss,
and you are a liar.

Day 123: Art of Noisiness
The cacophony of today's piece may accurately represent my mood today.
Lyrics:
Start your engines,
Stop your cringing,
Since you're on the fringe,
Don't think about revenge
Slow your patrol,
Before you fall in a hole,
Everybody is on a roll,
Even if they aren't they're in control.
Yes I built this house
No I'm not a mouse.
If you think you can find a louse just try it.
Last week we went to the show.
We wondered where you were and why didn't you go
Tearing down is much easier than building
As long as you carry that sword you've been wielding.

Day 36: A Comma
Just a break in the day's routine. A comma in your day, then go back to rushing about like you were.
This track brought to you by Nucleus Soundlab. Features the Ambient Drums refill and the VAST refill.
Also features my son saying "Box, box, box, box" although you'd never know it.
