One of the great things about the internet is the people you "meet". Since I've been online (1996) I've met a lot of people in different parts of the world. Sometimes we have even gotten to meet in person!
Today's work comes courtesy of my only German friend. We converse on Soundcloud (you can find him here) and we have recently started to exchange custom Reason patches and works. He makes some beautiful, noisy, quasi-industrial works of art. Here's what I did with some of his patches.
Lyrics:
Now how we gonna pass the time?
When you have no arms and legs,
how are we gonna pass the time?
Climb the ladder, every rung.
Don't you stop, we'll come undone.

Day 106: Everybody Gets to....
Sometimes you trip and fall down the rabbit hole. Way, way down. In this particular instance I swear it started with the most honest intentions and sort of spun out of control from there.
The acronym IDM stands for Intelligent Dance Music, a stupid genre name if ever there was one. It should probably be called NRDM (Not Really Dance Music) 'cause not many people are dancing to it. Anyway, it's a style of music that I grew to love in college and that love has never left me. Other people do it better than me, but it won't stop me from taking a stab at it.
Bonus points if you can make out the lyrics.

Day 27: The Day My Son Rolled Over for the First Time
Henry, my youngest son rolled over for the first time today. He's almost four months old. Needless to say, his mother and I are quite proud.
This track has nothing to do with it, but it felt important to mention the occasion. This was the first attempt at incorporating ReVolt Rack Extension into a track. Not sure I really did anything with it in this case, but it was there, measuring digital "voltage". Sugarbytes Slice Arranger gets an honorable mention for it's cool performance at the end of the track. Oh yeah, I mangled the vocal part with Uhbik-G and a Pulsar.
Lyrics:
Why don't you grin and bare it?
You'll probably have to share it.
You'll probably have to wear it.
Why don't you grin and bare it?
