Day 395: Changing Gears

After a year of weird electronic sounds, experimenting with machines, and generally making lots of music that may not see the light of day past Soundcloud, I've decided maybe I should focus on making things that could possibly make me some money eventually.  It helps that I happen to enjoy this kind og thing also.

Today's piece is perfect for a film.  It could probably fit into a few different genres.

Harkening back to my roots... or something like that.

Day 109: A Brief Statement

Just a short little statement with strings.  I imagine it as a short montage in a film or possibly something for a commercial.

Day 76: Stubdep?

A short, dubstepish track.  Chopped up a guitar loop from 9volt audio's Textured Guitar Refill.  Also used "ambient" drums from the ambient drum refill by Nucleus Soundlab.

I thought it came out all right.

Day 43: Waltz for a Snow Day

Another piece featuring "real" instruments today.  I might end up having a suite for String Trio + Others if I keep this up.  Here you have accordion, violin, viola, and cello.  I suppose the accordion could be substituted by piano instead, then I'd have a pair of pieces for the same instrumentation.  A novel idea, for sure.

Day 42: Classical Music for Short Attention Spans

A brief piece with string trio and piano because sometimes you just get tired of LFO's, oscillators, VCA, effects, and electronic stuff.
