I'm a big fan of all things in the "shoegaze" and "post-rock" genres. There are quite a few bands in this category now, and a lot of divergence in sounds. Yesterday I was listening to the band Fridge as I was driving and they inspired me to create today's piece.

Day 70: Locked Out of Heaven
Been working on this cover of Bruno Mars' Locked Out of Heaven for awhile. If you listen to popular radio, then you've probably heard this already. Almost guaranteed if you live in America. Anyway, I wanted to make it into something completely different. I think I succeeded.
Hope you enjoy.
Also went ahead and made a video for it.

Day 37: Collaborate
Been working on today's post for several days. It's a collaborative re-imagining of a piece by Zydis Qwap.
Here's a link to the original work.
Wanted to go into a more "abstract noise art" direction, but instead it's more "post-rock, experimental."
Hope you listen, hope you like, hope you follow Zydis Qwap on Soundcloud.
