Day 491: Mars Haiku
Flawless face of rouge,
Serene, silent elegance
Gracing her, named War
Today's work is for the Naviar Haiku project.
I wanted to make music that was alien and human at the same time. It came somewhere near that. Also, every patch used has "Mars" or "Martian" in it's title, so it's got that going for it.

Day 476: Haiku

I imagined the sun rising on an alien world and the day beginning. Initially there are only a few things moving around, but with a few minutes life awakens and goes about its day, exploring, eating, hunting, hiding, doing what ever it does.
There are some scary things here, there are some cute things here, there are some things here. Welcome to Tropical Hoth.
At the first sunlight
Seven happy roosters yell
A new day is here

Day 471: I just did this
So I posted today's track just a few hours ago and now I'm about to post tomorrow's track.
It's my second stab at the Naviar Haiku Project. A collaborative group, like Disquiet Junto, but focused on a simpler idea. Each week is inspired by a haiku.
This is the haiku for this week:

Day 465: Haiku Junto
Today's piece is the first work I've done for the Junto in awhile. It's also a collaboration with the Naviar Haiku Project. It's based on this Haiku:
“They encounter
A cathedral of ice
At the end of the world”
My process is a little boring (to me). I imagine a group of people searching for the end of the world, then fill in the scene of them discovering an ice cathedral with post-rock music. It could have just as easily gone in a different direction (ambient, more experimental, etc), but this time it was post-rock.
