Day 436: For Commercials

Listened to some heavily downloaded tracks on Pond5 and quickly realized that I can easily do much of what I heard.  For pieces in the Pop Rock genre they're mostly instrumental imitations of popular bands/songs, or original compositions influenced by such.  In the area of film scoring that was a little more complicated, although I don't think that stuff gets sold as much, so I should probably focus on the areas where I can make some kind of money.

This piece isn't quite as "commercial" as it could be.  I had already started it before listening to the above mentioned works, but it could still be in something.

Day 157: No Story, Just Music

So, I don't delve into the world on pop very often, but sometimes you just go where the music takes you.  Today it took me to, what I can only think of as Pop World™! This super-pop piece was working with several very high quality loops from Nine Volt Audio and high quality instruments (Propellerhead creations - Bass and Drums specifically).  I thought it came out decent.  The lyrics on the other hand....

Day 90: Here We Go

House is not a genre that really calls to me (unless it's made by Daft Punk), but today you will hear the rare house track, made by yours truly.   EDIT:  I was informed this is an *electro* track.  My bad!  It all sounds the same to old people like me and I'm crap with genres.

Just a bit of fun with some synth silliness, followed buy a bit of weirdness with some bit-crushing and piano.
