Day 376: Out with a Whisper

Today is December 31st, 2013.  This is the last piece I will post for the year 2013.  I hope you like it.

I've enjoyed the time we've spent together this year and I look forward to seeing you again in 2014.

Day 245: More Music for the Days

A kind of mixed bag piece today.  There's some experimentation with Bitspeek, some with the Konstruct Refill, some with delay.  Overall it came together all right, I suppose.

Day 228: Three Chords and the Truth

So this piece has three chords...  three really long, long... long chords. And then the first one plays again.  We'll call it "ambient".

Day 103: May You Be

Oddball short of a piece.  Started out thinking "This is going nowhere." but kept at it and am happy with the end result.

Day 81: A Chance to Breathe

Today is a rare day.  A "free" day, we'll call it.  No kids, no work, no vehicle and nothing that really has to be done.  As a result I was able to do something I rarely do now... play guitar.  There are only a couple of guitar tracks on today's work, but it was refreshing to be able to put live instruments on something and not be interrupted.

This track started as an experiment trying to use only loops, but went off the rails (as many of my experiments do - FOCUS!).  The driving force behind it is definitely a few core loops, appropriately mangled.

Day 31: On Inauguration Day

This track isn't political or inspired by politics in any way, it just happens to be the one that got posted on Inauguration Day.

An experiment with glitch, stutter, reverse, whole tone scales, piano, and delay.
