Day 208: Back in my skin again

Musically speaking it was good to get away from my routine and to be forced to do some things differently, but now that I'm back in the studio and have all my tools at hand I can say that it's good to be back.

I started this piece with the intent of creating some loop files for FGL, but ended up going in a completely different direction.  It's dark, it's rock, it's electronic, there's noise, and it's weird (I think).  Hope you enjoy.

Lyrics:
When the winter comes,
we shed our summer skins,
reaching for the cover of the flame.
When night falls,
we huddle close,
hoping and praying for the sun to return.

We sacrifice, we rejoice, we sacrifice, we mourn.
We sacrifice all in their name.

Our gods are old and bitter and brave.
We don't know if they will be pleased.
So we sacrifice again.

We sacrifice, we rejoice, we sacrifice, we mourn.
We sacrifice all in their name.
